Robert “Roby” Ewing Corlew, IV, age 28, passed away Thursday September 14, 2017. He was a native of Murfreesboro, TN. Roby was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. Robert E. Corlew, Jr.,  Mary Saille Corlew, and John Krauss.


Roby is survived by his mother, Beverly Clanton and her husband Trey of Shelbyville, TN; father, Robert E. “Bob” Corlew, III and his wife Dianne of Milton, TN; sister, Melissa Corlew Morris and her husband Drew of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, John (Tara) Corlew of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Cara Brown and her husband Nathan of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Leigh Ann Larson and her husband Landon of Ft. Worth, TX; grandmothers, Shirley Krauss of Gallatin, TN and Carrie Knox of Hermitage, TN; longtime companion, Erica Daniel of Memphis, TN, and  many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.


Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. John Hinkle, Jr.  officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.


Roby was member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, Epsilon Theta Chapter, a member and treasurer of the Rutherford Cyber Lions Club, and a Melvin Jones Fellow. Roby was also a member of First Presbyterian Church, and was a restaurant manager.


Memorials may be made to the Lions Clubs International Foundation, or the charity of your choice in memory of Roby.
