Salt Lake City, Utah-Robert Clinton Cosby, Jr., 23, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on February 23, 2026. Born on November 8, 2002, he was the beloved son of Bishop Robert C. Cosby, Sr. and First Lady, Evangelist Mary Martha Cosby. Affectionately known as "Bubs," Robert was a bright, loving, and gifted young man whose compassion and gentle spirit touched everyone he met.

Robert's passion for learning began early. He attended schools in Utah, Florida, and New York, and was accepted early to Cornell University, where he completed his 10th-grade year. Wanting to enjoy the full high school experience, he returned home to complete his education at Juan Diego Catholic School. He later worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant at Hope Mortgage and was the founder and creative force behind the inaugural "Thrasher Fest" skateboard tournament.

Robert's love for style and fashion was unmatched. He was an elite-class gamer and played the piano like an angel. Though gifted in so many ways, he was a person of great humility, what he valued most couldn't be bought.

Robert loved his parents with a fierce and unwavering devotion, and his mother was his closest confidante. His first and greatest love, however, was for God. Baptized in Jesus' Name and filled with the Holy Ghost, he was cherished as the First Son of the Faith Temple Pentecostal Churches. His faith guided him throughout his life, and he shared his journey-its triumphs and its trials-with courage and sincerity, touching countless lives. Just recently, before his passing, he expressed to his cousin his longing to see and meet his great-grandmother, Dr. Rosemary Redmon Cosby, "Mama", the beloved founder of the Faith Temple Pentecostal Churches.

Robert is survived by his devoted parents; a large extended family; the entire Faith Temple Pentecostal Church; his pets, Kray and Donatello; and many beautiful and caring friends around the world. His light, love, and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him and the many he inspired.
