Not sure what to say?

My condolences & deepest sympathy to Bob's family and friends. Bob was my colleague and at times, my mentor at Johns Hopkins and he was a very lovely human being all-around. It is with great sadness that I try to grasp that I will no longer be bumping into him in the hallway or at meetings or in line at the Daily Grind...

I'm shocked and deeply saddened at the news of Bob's passing. We were roommates at Holy Cross sophomore, junior and senior years. Bob was my best man at my wedding. After college we went our separate ways to graduate school and on to our careers and lost touch. I've thought of him often over the years wondering how he was doing. Now I'm sad that I didn't touch base with him. I don't know what to say except that Bob was a great guy. Rest in peace, Bob. We'll get together again some day.

Dear Catherine
I have shared so many wonderful moments with you and Bob over the years. His great love and consideration for you were touching. Seldom did a conversation fail to include a sweet word about you. It is a great love story that you are fortunate to have shared with this remarkable and gifted man.

I join your family in mourning your passing and I extend to them my heartfelt sympathy and condolences. You have been a good friend, a trusted colleague, and most pleasant companion on any number of assignments. I will miss you very much.

Dearest Catherine, we are all saddened by your great loss. Bob was not only our mentor, but more importantly an inspiration for the collegial , good natured, patient professional we all hope to enjoy. it was always a priviledge to work with you and Bob, and our prayers are with you now.
