Not sure what to say?

Mr. Couhig was the most reputable man I have worked for. My sincere condolences to the family.

I worked at Asphodel as a waiter/bartender from 1970 until 1974 while in college and it was my job there that made it possible for me to pay for my education. I will be forever thankful for Mr. and Mrs. Couhig providing me with a job and allowing me to complete my education and pursue my career as a CPA and finance professional. To this day I still enjoy the recipies from the Asphodel cook box. My condolances to his family and may he rest in peace,

Miss Nootsie and Mr. Bob were the earliest of believers in preservation going hand in hand with tourism as an economic force. Still remember the Asphodel bread. The Foundation for Historical Louisiana's Lagniappe Tours so enjoyed taking visitors to Asphodel.

As a waiter at Asphodel from 10th grade through college, Mr. Couhig was one of those influential people who helped many, including myself, achieve what they set out to. God bless him for the part he played in my life and God bless his family in their time of sorrow. I will always be thankful for him.

Have heard so many wonderful story's about your kindness and intelligence. I am sure you will be missed by many. May the good Lord bless you and your soul rest in peace.

Thanks, Mr. Couhig, for seeing something of value in me early in my life and giving me a start on the road to success. I have appreciated you and your family over many years.

He brightened my day wIth every encounter he was an inspiration.

We are sorry for the loss of your father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Our prayers are with all of you.

Rob, my thoughts are with you and your family. I hope in this time of sorrow you will be able to rejoice in the long full life your father led.
