Robert Coulombe Obituary
Robert Coulombe, 89, of Jensen Beach, FL, formerly of Manchester, CT, passed away December 6, 2025. Born in Fall River, MA, on Aug 23, 1936, he moved to CT in 1956, with his new bride to follow work in his trade as a Tool and Die maker at Pratt Whitney; finally retiring from his field in management at the Purdy Corporation of Manchester.
He was predeceased by wife, Delores Furtado Coulombe, and wife, Sandra Doutt Coulombe.
He is survived by his wife, Claire Higgins Coulombe.
He also leave his children, Michelle Bidwell, Melanie and Doug Johnson, Marlaine Martin, Melissa and Joe Barstow, Michael Coulombe, Lisa and Tom Carter, Lana and Jamie Zadrosny and Patti Lundell.
There will be a celebration of life in the Spring of 2026.
Any memorial donations can be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 80 Church St., Manchester, CT 06040.

Doug worked with Bob at Purdy. We loved visiting him and Claire in Florida. We also enjoyed our visits with him and Sandy at their home and swimming in his pool in Manchester. Sending our deepest sympathies to Claire and his family.
