When I read the obituary in the Post, I immediately recognized that "Bob Crenshaw" was our handyman back in the 1990's after he had retired. I know that Bob and I found each either other through a mutual acquaintance. Just can't remember the specifics.

He left a big impression upon me and my family--a gentleman and a gentle person. The kind of guy everyone wanted to be around. And, oh man, did he know his stuff! He tackled a wide variety of projects at our house in Rockville and...

We love our Uncle Bob! I am so thankful he was in my life. He will be missed!

It doesn't matter how old they are, or how ready they are to leave us. It is still impossible for those left behind. Loving you all.

I know it's hard to lose a loved one, but he is now with his wife again and both will looking down and watching over you all.

Susan and Debbie, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your dad had an angel waiting for him in heaven. He didn't want to keep her waiting. They are now reunited. Sending hugs to you both. Sorry that I can't be there during this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing.
