Not sure what to say?

Bobby was a wonderful childhood friend, full of zest and adventure. I remember us vividly (trying) to watch the NY Giants playing in New Haven, CT from the Crowder attic with a rabbit-eared TV. There may also have been unauthorized nighttime test drives of his dad's Austin Healy around neighborhood ...

Growing up, Bobby was a dear friend and joyous spirit in my life. I remember him with love and enormous fondness.

In remembrance, thinking of the great ocean and the creatures who live there.

Remembered

Bobby, as I always called him, was a kind and gentle spirit from my first meeting in the Old Chester Hill gang until several years ago when he took me, my wife and two teenage children on a tour of Muir Woods. They instantly bonded with him and his boyish enthusiasm in describing the trees. He never had other than a kindness for others, even when he was the subject of a practical joke or a hard block. His spirit lives on.
My prayers to Sally and Mr. and Mrs Crowder.

To Bobby's Family:

I send you all my prayers during this difficult time. I am in shock to read this news. I grew up with him in my neighborhood in Huntington, NY and I went to John H. Glenn with him and graduated with him in 1966. He was such a character in school. Such a fun person. Obviously, we have not connected in years even though we live just miles apart. From what I have read about him, he was a very special person and I am so glad I had the opportunity to be a small part...

I am shocked to hear about Bob. I grew up with him in NY and he was part of my wedding party. We got together about 3 years ago when he came back east.
How sad when his beloved Giants are on the verge of a World Series victory.
To Bob's parents, brother and sisters along my heart felt sympathy goes out to you all.
