Mike was a dear colleague during Peace Corps days in Ethiopia. His agricultural expertise and kind nature made him a treasure. His droll humor cheered many a difficult time. In recent years, he could be counted on for principled, thoughtful posts on Facebook. His great good judgment is evidenced in his marrying Karin. Two amazing, good people.
