Not sure what to say?

I just heard of Doug's death from my mother Lavon Sward and I loved him dearly...He will be greatly missed and I am truly thankful that I can call him a great friend...He was always smiling, friendly and joking and his passing will be a big loss for everyone that ever knew him....I will miss him a lot

My condolences go out to the family. Mr Doug will be greatly missed. Hurley will not be the same without him and Fat Albert riding around in that old truck visiting everyone in town. God rest his soul.

sorry for your loss mr.cumbest seem to be a really good man and now hes in an awesome place and the family is in my prayers because its so hard lose the ones we love so much .

I haven't seen Doug in years, but remember him well from the skating rink. We used to skate almost every time the rink was open. This was way back in the 1958 to the early 60's. He was a good friend back then.
I am sorry for his family and loved ones. He will be sadly missed.

My condolences go to the family. Kelly told me what a great man and father he was. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Doug was a staple of Hurley. There are not many left. He will be missed. He was a good friend and a good man.

Mr. doug I think ive known him for about 13 years now he was a kind man and taught me alot with a old truck. I actually bought his old 63 white chevy 3 years ago and still have it. When I herd of his loss I kinda thought back when I use to stop by and show him every little thing I had done to the truck. He was a family friend and a wise man.

I didn't know him personally, but I've learned from Kelli what a good man he was. May God bless & keep the Cumbest family in this difficult time.

I didn't know Mr. Cumbest personally, only as a kind soul who came into the store where I worked quite often. He was a sweet man who always had something nice to say and I can say I will genuinely miss him stopping by. I'm so very sorry for your family's loss, may God comfort you and keep you close to His heart. My condolences and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. Cumbest.
