I was very fortunate to have had a chance to work with Bob over twenty years ago now as he tirelessly arranged our yearly banquets for the Cleveland Technical Societies Council. His attention to detail was impressive. When he was taking care of plans and details, I never worried how things would turn out. I used to look forward to visiting him and his office associate, Ned Whelan, in his office in the Hanna Building. I don't think there was a person in Cleveland who didn't know him in...

Bob was a great man, I'm proud and honored to have had him as a friend, a true "gentleman".

Our sympathies to all. My husband and I remember Bob from high school. He was a good dancer and I danced with him at the Monday Night Canteen. We remember that he and his mother opened a "Hamburger Joint" where some of us used to hang out. Even at his young age he had a wonderful personality.
