I salute a patriotic American warrior who fought in three wars. You, sir, are the generation that saved the world and this is not to be contested. I never met you but thank you for your many sacrifices. God blesss and keep you, sir, for you are a true role model. Very respectfully, Stephen W. Amodt Captain, USMC retired.

Dear Uncle Jack,

Your dry wit and twinkling eyes will always be remembered.

Love, Judy

"Uncle Jack" was a beloved member of our family. The way he lived his life....with dignity and integrity, spoke volumes about the man he was. Uncle Jack and I spoke many times about our "military" lives, and he was an icon for me to admire in my childhood. The sacrifices he made for this country are much appreciated. I was always amazed at how such a strong man could have such a gentle spirit. RIP, Ed Sandell
