Dearest Anabel,

We just became aware of Bob's entrance to Glory and are so very sorry for your loss for now. You and Bob were such a tremendous blessing to us during the time my Bob was transitioning into the presidency of Worldwide Discipleship Association, and your encouragement and wisdom were invaluable. Your Bob will always stay in my memory as the most 'gentemanly' gentleman I've ever known, and you are the perfect example of southern gentility. Thank you for sharing a part of your wonderful lives with us. Bob and the rest of the staff and board at WDA join me in thanking you for the great blessing of knowing and benefiting from both of you. Love in Christ,

Deb Conant

Dear Anabel,
Although I only had the pleasure of meeting Bob a couple of times, I respect him immensely. Getting to know him over the years through Connie (and the heartwarming stories at the service and lunch), helped teach me how much God loves us all. God is always there for us. Bob's love of the Lord and his family is inspiring. He truly lived to spread the love and compassion of the Lord. What a blessing to all who shared in his life.

Dear Mrs C, you and your family, including my dear friend, Connie, have been in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I had had the pleasure and honor of meeting Mr. Cunningham. He sounds like a remarkable person and Christian. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to meet you at some point. Your faith and Mr. Cunningham's is reflected in Connie. She has been such a good friend to me and our discussions and prayers have deepened my faith in the years that I have known her. May God continue to bless you in the weeks, months and years to come.

Dear Mrs. Cunningham, What an amazing life you and Mr. Cunningham have had together. You were a stunning couple with wonderful values and great faith and you raised a beautiful family. What a legacy! The Lord brought your daughter, Connie, and I together thru NPCC many years ago. I cherish her friendship. She always speaks of her parents with tremendous gratitude and love. My heart is sad for you and the family as I can only imagine how much you will miss your husband. He served our country, enjoyed life (thank you for sharing the wonderful photographs to help us learn more about him) and he served the Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bob was a friend, a fine fwllow, and will be sorely missed. My sincerest condolences to Annabell and the other members of his family.

I knew him through the Marist alumni, He was in school as a student for his last two years when I was there in the 7th and 8th grades. He came to many functions at Marist were I got to know him. We often corresponded about the old days.

Your whole family is loved and has been an honor to the Lord. Bob, Anabel and the kids were loving and welcoming to me when I moved to Macon while serving with Campus Crusade 45 yrs ago. Lucy, Connie, Anabel, Cleve and family, praying for you all during this time of loss for you (but gain for Bob)! Though your grief is not without hope, I know the separation is hard. I have such fond memories of your dad/husband from my growing up years. And will always be thankful for his and your love as you all first told me and my family of the saving grace of Christ. You are all a blessing. Though years and miles separate us, you are very dear to me. Much love! Sue Ann
