Pat & family, We were saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was a good friend and associate at Cummins; a real hard-working guy!. I always enjoyed his wit and he and Boagie and I had many lunches together after Bob and Guy retired. I remember vividly Bob's retirement lunch and spending a part of a day, and lunch, with you two at your Prineville place during the Timber Carnival one year. And the buzzworm river trips!!
Condolences to you and the family,

Pat and Kids,
Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a good friend and outstanding mentor for me for the 10 plus years I worked for and with him at Cummins Oregon Diesel/Cummins Northwest. Nobody was a better historian or record keeper of Cummins engine history than Bob. It was an honor to have been named his replacement.
I will always remember the pride he had in your place in Prineville, the enjoyment he had driving the water skiing boat for all the family.
Condolences to you...

Dear Pat, You are in my thoughts today as I read Bob's notice. I haven't seen you for a long time but I have fun memories of our childhood. Who would have thought that we would have lived to be this old! I hope you will be comforted in your loss by happy memories of your life together. It has helped me to stay happy as we know our spouses would want us to be.
Love, Caroline

Bob was a very, very close friend from grade school through life. He was instrumental in my becoming an SAE at the University of Oregon. He always stuck up for me and I shall never forget it. We were so close for many years and he and Pat asked me to be Godfather of their son Don.which I became. We ended up in different worlds and lost touch. I failed Don as a Godfather. To this day, I regret that deeply. To date, I don't know if he ever needed me of if Bob and Pat needed my help at some...
