Never forgotten, a true American Hero and genuine human being. He is missed.

I did business with Mr. Currie and in his later years while visiting his office on S. Michigan would always engage him in conversation about his WW-2 experiences and his Prosecutor experiences. Robert loved to tell me the stories of these times, I learned much from these conversations and looked forward to them. I respected and liked this genuine human being very much, he was a gem and a Hero and I am saddened by his death but I am sure he is in a beautiful place now and filled with joy and...

I cannot imagine anything making Bob happier than his Grandchildren. When HOPE and Michael were 3 years old he came over before they woke up Christmas morning. He'd bought them a motorized toy jeep. He had a Smile from ear to ear even after they had hit him and the tree. Their joy made him the happiest.
