Not sure what to say?

Mary and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I remember Bob with great fondness and appreciated all his advice when I was new to teaching. He will be deeply missed, but how wonderful that he touched the lives of so many teenagers! God Bless you all.

I'm stunned and deeply saddened at the loss of Mr. D - I saw him a few years back when I stopped in the school and remember how good he looked. This is a great loss for all of us...........RIP

I'm so sad to hear of Mr. D'Aquila's passing,
he was a wonderful, friendly teacher and an important part of my time at SCHS. My deepest sympathies
to the entire Trinity Catholic community.

Mrs. D'Aquila, you were still Miss McCabe when I was in your religion class. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I will always remember and appreciate Mr. D'Aquila impact.

God bless,

Peter Shaffery
SCHS Class of 79

Mr. D'Aquila was one of the most influential teachers I ever had, giving me confidence in a subject (math) that I never had confidence in before. A small thing to some, but not to a teenager struggling to find her way. I am so sorry to hear this sad news and to think of all the students who will be deprived of his dedication to their success. To his family, Mrs. D'Aquila (I knew you as Miss McCabe) and his children, my deepest condolences and prayers. -- Janet Cappiello Blake, SCHS class of...

Dear Mary, Kathleen, and John,
I am stunned to hear of Bob's passing, and my heart goes out to you all. He was a true gentleman and a scholar and it was my privilege to work with him at SCHS. May God grant him eternal rest, and much comfort to you in your (and our) loss.
With sympathy,
Sr. Judith O'Connor, osu

Back when we were both rookie teachers at (then) Stamford Catholic, we all knew that Bob was one of the truly good guys. We were correct. My thoughts and prayers are with Bob's family and the entire Trinity Catholic community.

Dear Mrs. D'Aquila and family. Bob taught me ( and most of my siblings) geometry 30 years ago. He was a superb teacher and a very patient and kind man. It was no surprise to learn he went on to become such a great leader. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Mrs. D'Aquila,

We just heard about Mr. D'Aquila's sudden passing. We are so sorry for your loss. I remember fondly having both of you my freshman year, and will always remember Mr. D'Aquila's patience with those of us who were not quite savvy in math. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Mrs. D'Aquila and family,

We were shocked and so saddened to hear about Mr. D'Aquila, not only was he my math teacher Class of 1978, but my children had the greatest opportunity to attend and graduate from
Trinity under Mr D'Aquila's incredible guidance and leadership.
Christina (class 0f 2007) and Michael (class of 2009). Trinity truly is a
special high school thanks to people
like Mr. D'Aquila.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you
