It was a privilege and honor to handle campaign advertising for Congressman Daniel from l974 to 1980. A true Virginia gentleman and statesman, his love for the district, the Commonwealth and this great nation was an inspiration.

Uncle Bobby will be missed. It is sad that we did not have the pleasure of his good company more often over the years.

Mr. Daniel was a fine man, a gentleman of many talents. I worked for him in Washington when he served in the U.S. Congress. He served there with dedication and selflessness. I admired him greatly.

Goodbye to a fine gentleman and fellow fraternity brother. You will be missed but not forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I only just met Mr Daniels at a PAH hunt in the fall. He was so very kind and welcoming to me as a new comer. I wish I had been able to have met him again. my thoughts and prayers are with his entire family and friends.
