Robert Darr Obituary
Robert E. Darr died at his home on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. He was 69.
Born and raised in the Olney section of Philadelphia, Mr. Darr has been a resident of Falls Township for the past 43 years. He was a member of the former Saint Joseph the Worker Parish in Fallsington and a current member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish in Fairless Hills.
Mr. Darr was a 1965 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School.
Until retiring, Mr. Darr was employed with the CVS Warehouse in Lumberton, NJ for many years. Afterwards, he became a part time driver for Manheim Car Auctions in NJ. He was a vintage car enthusiast.
Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Riley), Mr. Darr is the loving father of Alicia Greene (Vince), Andrea Braccille (Jim) and Jeannette Darr (companion, Steve Reichner).
He is the devoted Pop Pop of John, Matt, Charli, Lyla, James, and Riley and companion of 8 years to Sally Napoleon.
He will also be sadly missed by several loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Mr. Darr was predeceased by his parents, Madeline (Freed) and Elmer L. Darr and his sister, Jean Foster.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 9:30 until 11:00 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his memorial service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
