Not sure what to say?

I was so sad to hear of Uncle Bob's passing, it is always hard to lose a loved one. Uncle Bob's kind-hearted ways and soft-spoken approach to life leaves a lasting impression. I was always so impressed by his art; as a kid I felt proud to have a 'real artist' in the family when seeing his art on our walls. The memory of him will last forever....you are all in my thoughts and my heart...love Janet, Jim, Jack and Katie xoxo

Although I am no longer a member at City View United Church, I have many fond memories of Bob from Men's Club and other church related activities. He was a wonderful gentleman in the true sense of the word and I offer my condolences to his family.

Sorry to read about Bob's passing.I had many pleasant conversations with him (and Eleanor) after church, at Men's Club.He was a very kind and caring person. You were blessed with him in your life for 85 years and will carry many fond memories with you. Holly and I offer our deepest condolences.

Ruth, Bruce and Jennifer. It was saddening to hear that Uncle Bob had passed away. He was such a great man, quiet, gentle, talented and fun! So many memories of him and Aunt Eleanor. I am lucky to have had such people in my life. I know you all have many wonderful memories of him to help you through your sadness. Love Debbie and John

Dear Ruth, Bruce and Jennifer
I, too, remember your Dad as a kind and gentle family man, and a skilled artist. May his legacy and your memories of him be ever in your heart. Love and prayers, cousin Cathie

We wish your entire family well as we know, from experience, that losing a parent is a very difficult time. We have so many of his beautiful paintings in our house he will always be around us. We will be there with you in Ottawa to say good-bye to Uncle Bob. With love from Sandy, Bill, Abbey, Lily, Sarah & Marcus.

So sad to hear this news. Growing up with the Daugherty's (Jennifer) in my childhood was one of the best memories I will cherish. I will always remember what a kind soul your father was. Always welcoming. May you find comfort with your family and friends to guide you through this difficult journey.

Your loving father was one of the best traditional cartographers ever, knowledgeable, keen and always happy to be of service. Bob was my first supervisor at the Survey and always treated me with a lot of respect. He was a good teacher, a good man and he loved his family dearly.

Dear Ruth, Bruce and Jennifer. So sorry to hear of Bob's passing.....Fond memories of both your Dad and your Mom from my growing up years in Ottawa and at City View. Ruth - will there be a remembrance in Hamilton at all? Thinking of you at this difficult time. God Bless.
