Not sure what to say?

Never a more decent man, passionate patriot, or loving partner and father.

Dear Sherry and Bob:
It is so nice to see that family and friends have added comments. Again, Bob Senior enjoyed a long and loving life, thanks to family and fiends. Take care you two. Remember the good times.

We are very sorry for your loss. I have added Col. Davis' photo and obit to the AFTAC Alumni Assn - West Coast Chapter website "Departed" page.

Bravo, Grandad, to a life well lived!

I've always known Robert M. Davis as Grandad--my wonderful grandfather. I was privileged to come of age listening to stories around the table of his childhood, of raising his kids while moving from base to base, his travel adventures with Mimi and about all the lovely folks that he met along the way. My heartfelt prayers and condolences to the entire Davis family. Your father was truly one of the kindest men I ever met.

I remember Col Davis as a fine officer as Chief of Personnel & Administration in the 1960s at 1155th Technical Operations Squadron, McClellan AFB CA. I'm submitting his obituary for inclusion in the AFTAC Alumni newsletter. Dale Klug, SMSgt, USAF (Ret)

And then I did! I love your family as my very own and I am so blessed to have you all in my life. Dad was one of the most caring, kind and honorable men that I have ever known. I miss his...

Dear Bob (jr): Most sorry to read about your loss. We would say your Dad had a long loving life. We did not know he lived so close by. Hope all is fine with your family. Maybe some day our paths will cross again.
