My sympathy goes out to his family. I met Bob many years ago in FL and we have been friends since. Sadly, he was hard to reach in the last years since we visited him in 2009. We live in Munich, Germany and so it was not possible to meet again since then. We had a few private problems of our own - my mother-in-law needing a lot of care and thus I could not travel abroad since then. Bob was a dear friend who shared our love of camping and hiking in Cloudland Canyon in Georgia. We had a very memorable trip and many other get togathers to share food and company. We loved his sense of humor and were impressed by his skills and knowledge as a doctor. He was fun to be around. He was a very good friend.
