Robert Bob Day

I met Bob by chance during one of my daily hikes through the hills of Marin. I have a route that crosses King Mountain, down Ladybug trail and comes out at the Dawn Falls trailhead. I continue on out Madrone Avenue. It was on Madrone that I would randomly run into Bob and Maria, a care giver. He'd be out on a walk with his walker. I met Bob Day, DDS while I served as the Dental Alumni Association alumni coordinator at UCSF approximately 20 years ago. Each year the DAA organized a "Scientific Session" to allow dentists/dental hygienists to meet continuing education credit requirements, as well as attend a number of class reunions. I remember when Bob and I stood outside the medical center saying goodbye upon graduating not knowing he would spend decades at the same place and I returning there in dental school. I last saw him at our 60th anniversary of Pharmacy class. Wayne Quan, PharmD, DDS

My favorite memory of Grandpa Bob was 2 Christmas´ ago. He was funny and his stories always made me laugh. We miss him.

One of my favorite memories with grandpa Bob was when me and my brother and dad went to visit him and we were at the dinner table and we were telling each other riddles, he was telling funny jokes and it was a great time.
