Not sure what to say?

I'm a graduate of Cass Techs Class of 2018 and I was nominated and won the award left behind by Mr. Debrodt and I'd like to extend my sympathy and just thank you for helping me on my journey to become a great musician.

Dear Barbara,

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Bob will surely be missed by all who knew him.
Someone noted that he "was friend to so many." I agree and am thankful that I shared some evenings of your "hot jazz" with him and others in our early years of
retirement.
Peace,
Ernestine McGlynn

Dear Barb, Pat & I extend our sympathy. You and Bob have been such great Loch Alpine people. We, as your other LA friends here over so many long years, remember you & Bob very fondly. It's been our good fortune to have known you both. We hold your hand now in sorrow. Bob

My deepest sympathy to Barbara and family in the loss of such a special husband, father and friend to so many. It was my privilege to call Bob a friend. I was fortunate to be a recipient of his many years of giving back to the University of Michigan and the Ann Arbor community. Bob volunteered numerous hours at Turner Senior Resource Center in his professional advisory capacity. Many of the successes of the center can be attributed to his expertise in grant writing and program experience. I...

I had the honor of working with Bob at the very start of my career at the University in the mid-80's. He was perhaps the most gracious man I've ever met; never too busy to help the new kid understand his work. Our paths crossed rarely in later years, but when they did he never failed to remember me and ask how I was doing. I am truly sorry for your loss. He will be missed!

I've only know Bob for about the past 15 years when we served together on several committees at the UM Turner Clinic and Resource Center. Over those few years and infrequent meetings, however, we have become good friends and sometimes allies in questioning and arguing over various policy issues and procedures of geriatric care at the U of Michigan. I found him a pleasant and effective colleague and a sometimes formidable foe. His wise counsel and clever comments will be missed by many,...

Dear Barbara, Carol and Donna,
How very sorry I was to learn of Bob's passing. I much admired his intelligence, his wit and his profound kindness. What a great friend. Please know I am thinking of all of you and sending my deepest sympathies. Barbara, I sent word of Bob's passing to Mary Harper. Hers is the only phone number had. God bless all of you.

Barb, we are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We adored having you both as our neighbors on Whitman Circle. I cherished our visits with you both. Bob was always so kind, always asking about the boys (King Jack and King Henry) and encouraging my efforts in graduate school. He was quick to offer help and was always so genuinly happy to see us! We will miss him greatly! Sending lots of love to you Barb.

I am so sorry to hear about Bob. I really enjoyed talking to him when he volunteered weekly at TSRC. Our discussions about health care policy and his wry and insightful comments always made me laugh. He was so kind, generous and thoughtful. I am grateful to have known him. Barbara and family, my sympathy is with you.
