Robert E. Decatur

I remember when he used to paddle me give me swats at Everett Junior High. He would go out and hunt for truancy busted me a few times but he was a great principal always had to up most respect for that man I am sorry for your loss my wife and I were just talking about him the other day may God bless the family

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. It was my great pleasure to work with Robert Decatur at Ridgeview back in the mid 70's. He would have to be one of the best school principals to work for. Just the type of person that you would want to do your best for. I remember that the staff would affectionately refer to him as 'RD'(how he signed his memos). One of the last time I saw him was some years when I visited him and his wife down in Clearwater. Then I saw him again...

Dear Decatur Family,
As a student I have never forgotten Mr. Decatur the teacher. His great positive impact is felt today though out the world.
