To Marilyn and family,
Your husband, father, brother and friend was one of my all time favorite people. We were classmates from 1951 through graduation some 20 years later from Calvin College. He was kind, a real person and a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. I enjoyed his ministry in South Holland. I taught some of you kids in South Holland and spent many good together. May the Lord comfort you in your sorrow but may you have peace about his life. And now he is rejoicing...

So sorry to read of Bob,s passing. It brought back many childhood memories of the time we spent together. Our sympathies to all of his family. Howard/Betty

Truly thankful for Prof. Decker as our pastor in South Holland when our family joined the Protestant Reformed Churches. We were so sad when he left, but we are thankful for his faithful work in our seminary! Marilyn, may you and the family experience God's good and amazing grace as now you must walk down life's pathway without him. You are in my prayers.

May God wrap his arms around you Marilyn, and also around your wonderful close family ... I know God will always be close to all of you and guide you through these hard times .. So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. He was the best neighbor you could have. Always enjoyed talking with him about his fun times at Nettles Island. May God wrap his comforting arms around Marilyn and family during these difficult times. Rest In Peace Bob, you made our world a better place.

The ring bearer in Gerald and Florence Bouwkamp's wedding was the very young Bob Decker!

Prayers for the peace that passeth all understanding. Prof and Mrs Decker were some of my favorite customers at OBI. Such a dear couple!

May we who grieve at cousin Bob's passing, rest in the comfort of knowing God's promises are true and powerful and that God is faithful to take care of those who mourn.
