Not sure what to say?

I knew Bob when we worked at the Dallas Times Herald. He was a classic, principled journalist who was a great teacher (even if he didn't know he was teaching us!)for the junior reporters in his shadow. I'm sorry for your family's loss. My deepest condolences.

I had the privilege of knowing Bob from my days in public relations with The Southland Corporation. Bob was always the epitome of a professional journalist. He was an
extremely talented writer, outstanding reporter and completely fair-minded and objective in every situation. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to the Deitz family. Such sad news. I knew Bob when we both worked at the Times Herald. He always was kind, patient and encouraging with me, never phony or condescending. I am very sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bob and Sharon and Family. I Met Bob 4 years ago he was a great guy and enjoyed life. He learned to apperciate the birds and rocks on the road thats how much he enjoyed his life. Sharon i will always keep intouch take care and you know Bob loved you dearley.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bob and his family. Bob barely knew me. We met once or twice back in 1985, when I was with Hill and Knowlton in Dallas. What I learned about him, however, and his example, gave me strength to do something that changed the course of my life. That was more than twenty years ago, and I'm so grateful for Bob's example every day.

My warmest sympathy goes out to the Deitz family. I am a family friend from Bob’s school days. Wish I had known that he lived in Dallas, I have lived in Texas for many years.

Sharon,

Know that our love thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Bob was not only a client to me but was a brother in christ as well. He has accomplished his final acheviement.
