Not sure what to say?

So sad to hear. Graduated in 1975 was blessed to have such a compassionate and l teacher . I still remember him out side corner shot in basketball he would not miss. . Whaat fun we had try to contain him in after school pick up games . He was always willing to listen and help you draw your own conclusions just by asking questions. My Condolences to the family.

One of the best teachers I ever had!

Was my math teacher @ Eli Whitney during the mid 70´s. Wonderful man and a great teacher, always up for a laugh, loved to turn your name into a funny phrase, well remembered, R.I.P. Mr Dellert, God Speed, Doug McDermott.

Mr. Dellert was my Freshman Math Instructor at Eli Whitney Class of 1975 and helped me finally pass Algebra after 3 years. He was among the most fun Instructors ever! In my Fewshman Year he played Trumpet in the song Winter Wonderland with Mr. Mordin on Sax, Freshman Matthew DeBrino on Drums and one other Instructor. I moved to North Branford in 1979 and went to a Youth Baseball game at Wall Field where my former spouse Gail Zercie had been a Girl's Softball Coach. There I met Mr. Dellert...

Didn't have any classes with him at EWT, but the first time in the hallway he said i needed to secure the button under my tie, (dress code). After that anytime I passed him in the hallway I would lift up my tie to show the top button, from then on he would see me and give me the thumbs up !!!!!

I would like to offer condolences to Roberts family. I remember him as a great math teacher with a wonderful sense humor. May God bless him and all of you.

Sincere condolences to Robert´s family. He was one of my favorite teachers in Eli Whitney

My condolences to Bernice and her family. Mr Dellert was the best teacher. I also had the privilege of seeing him & his wife pretty regularly at the doctors office where I work. Such a kind, caring soul. RIP Mr Dellert.

Best math teacher I ever had. Caring, compassionate with a great wit! Rest in peace Mr D!
