My deepest sympathies to the Dempsey family on the passing of Judge Dempsey. I regret being unable to attend either the wake or his funeral service. He was a very strong and positive influence on me when I was an aspiring law student. He devoted a good amount of time discussing complex legal issues with me and I credit him with helping to develop my legal mindset. I have not seen him in years yet I can tell you his passing leaves me with a feeling of loss.

How sad to hear of Bob Dempseys passing. He was my mentor and friend. I was so happy when he agreed to perform the marriage ceremony for my husband and me 20 years ago. He will never be forgotten. My deepest condolences to his wonderful sons. Janet Meyers
