Not sure what to say?

I find solace in the belief Dr D and Mrs Denoncourt have found one another once again. A new hajime.

I pray Bob and Ann are now enjoying square dancing in heaven. It was my privilege to meet them when Ann was President of the PA School Boards Association Executive Board in the early 80's. I didn't know she passed away recently, too. I'm sure your family will find comfort in many happy memories as Bob and Ann always held "family first" in their lives. Please know my husband, Wil, and I are sending sincere sympathy and love to you all.

For a few years in the 70s, I was a secretary at York College for the Biological Sciences department and Dr. Denoncourt my "boss." I will never forget him and his golden retriever who came with him to school nearly every day carrying Dr. Denoncourt´s brown paper lunch bag. He and his department were a pleasure to work for. I´m so sorry for your loss.

For 65 years, you had my back. Even after I 'grew up," even though I seldom asked for your support, knowing you were there, ready and willing to help, if needed. We became closer after I left 'home.' Who would I be without the past 40 years of open water and ice fishing, hiking up ski resorts, running (seriously) and walking so many different dogs, swimming in the lake, picking low-bush fruit on 'our' Blueberry Mountain. Mom and your passing have left a very large hole in my life, but you...

Dr D. Life and Learning with you was an absolute joy. Thank you so much for your guidance. RFD's family, I wrote Dr D letters with intentional mistakes, he always mailed them back, corrected. He was the consummate teacher. Rest in Peace, Professor, Mentor, Colleague, Friend.

Colleague, mentor, teacher, and most of all my friend -- Bob was the most influential and important person in my professional life and continues to influence what I do almost on a daily basis in one way or another. I shall deeply miss him.

My sincere condolences to all of you. Ric and I used to visit your Dad and Mom up in New Hampshire. I have such warm memories of them. They always made me feel right at home. May he rest in peace with Ann.
