Robert DeVries Obituary
January 15, 1935 - July 6, 2018
Cary
Robert B. DeVries (Bob) of Cary, N.C. and formerly of Emerald Isle, N.C. passed from this life on Friday, July 6, 2018. He is survived by his wife Marilyn; son Donald and wife Trisha DeVries; daughter Valerie and husband Scott Cole; son Kevin and wife Julie DeVries; and by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bob served honorably in the US Army and had a long and successful career as a Systems and Product Engineer with IBM.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 12-1 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC), with funeral services to begin at 1:00 pm. Graveside services will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
