I was very sad to learn of the death of Dr. Robert Dibble who besides being a beloved and stellar physician, was just a great person. Dr Dibble was a really nice, smart, compassionate and empathetic man. I've actuall known him since I was a 2nd grade child because June & my big cousin Tawana were friends. I hung out with them as a child. When I became a grown woman he was my grandmother Mary Jane Wise's Dr. My mother (Bernadette Tolson) & I took her to many appointments with him and his bedside manner was above reproach. When I retired from the US AirForce in 2013 I was trying to get him as my Dr because he was like family...

We have really lost a great physician, a towering figure in the medical community and a legend in Washington, D.C. His deep concern and care for his patients was the subject of wonder and appreciation in many of our settings. One oft shared joke was if you went in for a physical take the rest of the day off, you'll need it to recover. It was a total experience!! Missed an appointment, expect a personal call from him early in the am reminding you of your next day appointment at 7:30 am...

In loving memory of a wonderful uncle. Thank you so much for taking care of all the people over the years as a doctor. You went out of your way to make sure that all your patients were taking care of and you always make time for your family as well. Rest in peace. You will be missed, love your niece Gayle.
