My sympathies to the Dicker family at this time of their loss. Bob gave me my first real job in his store on Michigan Ave in 1957-58. I ran errands, cleaned jewelry, wrapped gifts and drove his family around Jackson. I was petrified in his new car as I had just learned to drive, what an experience!! He trusted me in this and taking packages of diamonds to the Post office. He was a good man and I learned a lot from him.

Dear friends of Bob,When i first met Bob I thought what a cool old dude,I often enjoyed his company and his enthusiasm in looking forward to the kentucky derby and mint julips. His generousity to Saint Pauls Church is probably mostly unknown to most people but should never be forgotten.My prayers and thoughts go out to Doryce and family,may you rest in peace Bob. My condolences to the family of Robert Dicker. Bob Dicker gave me my first ever job when I was a senior at Jackson High School in the 1945-1946 school year. I worked after school and saturdays learning the jewelry repair end of the business. While working at the store he assisted and helped me purchase my Mothers very first complete 8 place setting of Gorham sterling silver complete with all the
