Not sure what to say?

Mr,Dills was a wonderful i enjoyed having him as our music director at the first Baptist church of Ahoskie he was kind and funny he made choir practice fun and enjoyable wish he never left us he was a good person to know

My heart breaks that Bob is no longer on this earth, but I have no doubt that he is singing in the presence of the One he loves and served.

Bob was Minister of Music when I was growing up at FBC in the 1980’s and I spent many hours under his training in youth choir and handbells. He modeled his love for Jesus in a humble and loving way.

Love and prayers for Jackie, Keith, Kelli and family members.

I had the pleasure of growing up with Mr. Bob driving for just about every youth trip that I remember at FBC Shelby, and also having the pleasure of singing in the church choir with him. I always remember Carol Ann starting our youth trip drives with asking what's Bob spelled backwards? without missing a beat we would all yell out Bob! He was such a sweet person and I have many fond memories of Mr. Bob. My sincerest condolences to Miss Jackie and his sweet family and may he rest in eternal...

bob dills was my choir director and minister of music at my church here for 15 years i teenagers loved him as well as the people of the church we could have fun with him we were sad when he left to go to Shelby he was a wonderful human being

Bob was a fine man and had such a great influence on so many young people growing up in Ahoskie as our choir director at First Baptist Church (myself included). I have fond memories of singing in the church choirs; he taught us so much about music, always selecting pieces that we loved to sing, and set a great example for us at all times. He will forever be remembered by all that knew him.

Bob was one of the most dedicated and hard working men I've ever known. He did so quietly and without fanfare, just getting the job done without ceremony! I treasure the good times we shared...choirs, the church bus...he was my friend. Glad his battle is won! Prayers for Jackie and family!!! TY

He was a great influence in my life He was my Minister of Music at First Baptist Church Ahoskie NC My ❤for all of his family

Bob Dills was such an important person in my life. He helped lead me to make the decision to dedicate my life to serve as a Minister of Music. Because of his influence, I was lead to churches in AL, MISS,KY,IN, and currently over 32 years in Raleigh, NC. My parents Joe and Ella Lee Keel were so fond of Bob and grateful for the influence he had on my life, and so many others. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jackie and the family during this difficult time. I look forward to singing in...

Bob was an important part of my life as I was just beginning high school when he and Jackie first came to Ahoskie (NC) First Baptist. Shortly after Bob and Jackie arrived, he started the summer youth gatherings on Friday nights and invited all the young people in town. One of those events was where I first played ping pong and fell in love with my husband of 55 years! Bob Dills was truly more than a teacher/pastor and choir director. He was also a dear and sincere friend. No doubt Bob's...
