Dear First Lady and family, Rev Dixion was not only a great and loyal pastor but he was also my friend. He helped my family in so many different ways, but mostly in prayers. He was known to travel the roads to places far and wide to attend events as he did for my aunt upon her homegoing. Just to know that he and Deacon Aguillar took time out of their schedules to travel to Oklahoma will always be a lasting impression in my mind.
Be encouraged and of good cheer for our Father always knows what is best for us all.
I will miss his warm smile, his quiet and soothing voice, but most of all I will miss the man who was there to futher my walk with Christ.
Love and utmost respect to you all,
The Obey and Lofton Families

To the Dixon Family: Pastor Dixon was truly a great man of God. He was an inspiration to my life and the life of my family. I will miss hearing his booming voice on Sunday mornings. I thank him for his teaching, his counseling and his prayers for my family and me. First Baptist will never be the same without our dear beloved Pastor. He used to always sing, "I am on the battlefield for My Lord...and I will serve Him till I die". I know he is in the arms of the Lord and He is telling Pastor..."Service Well Done". Sis. Dixon, Bobbie, Rodney, Anita and Eboni, my prayers are constantly with you and may the peace that surpasses all understanding comfort you in the days to come.

Even tho God has called Rev.Dixon to rest eternaly, yet, our work on earth is yet not done,he only calls the one's who are ready. We will continue to do the things that are right no matter what,God will always keep us and never let us down.We must carry on from where our leader has taken us to low valley's and then to the the hightest mountain tops he made it and so can we.
Love Always
