Barb and family, We were so sorry to hear of the loss of Bob. He had a great smile and laugh and will definitely be missed! He was also a great protector of those he cared about. We didn't get a chance to visit with you at the service. You did a great job honoring him there. May you experience God's peace and comfort in the days to come. Mara and Carl Marsman

Bob and Barb mentored us as presenters for Engaged Encounter. We had many wonderful moments with them. Fun filled and inspiring. Our sincere sympathies. Sorry we can not be with you all for the services as we are in Florida. God be with you all.

My deepest sympathy to Barb and all of Bob´s family. I remember when a handicapped friend of mine was given about three days to move from her second floor apartment to another building that was handicap accessible. Bob brought his pickup and trailer along with several other men from St Mary Magdalen on a cold, windy, blustery day and got her moved on short notice. He was someone if you needed anything done, you knew he was someone you could count on to get it done. He did so many things...

I had several of Robert Dodde's children as students at Blain Elementary. He totally impressed me. Mr. Dodde was the kind of father I'd like to see all kids have.

Barb and family, Our hearts are breaking as we followed you on your journey this week. Bob was bigger than life and left his impression everywhere he went and on everyone he met. So kind, loving and giving. We are so proud to call him friend!!! Love & miss him

We worked with Bob at Spartan for many years. He lived his life for his faith and family. He will be missed .

Bob was a terrific husband, father and friend. We have many fond memories of him and he will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to be in his life. Our deepest condolences to Barb and her children.
