I believe I recognize Bob from his photo here in this "Obituary" of his life.
I did not see anything about Bob being in the 188 National Guard Band stationed at Hector Field at Fargo, ND. I may have missed it.
Bob sat first chair playing trumpet in the band and I sat next to him. I was in from 1967 til 1973 since it was a 6 year tour you could say. Bob was there pretty much the whole time I was there.

Mr. Dodge was a charismatic and engaging teacher. I met him in 1985, on the first day of my sophomore year at the Singapore American School, where he taught AP Modern European History. Dear Jane... I was saddened to read of Bob's passing. What a remarkable life he led! He was certainly a well accomplished man.
I'm taking you way back to your years at Jefferson School. You were one of my 1st teaching friends. After I met Jim ( now married for almost 52 years) I know we went out together a few times.
