Robert J. "Bob" Doherty

I am so sad to hear of Bob's passing. He was so kind, caring and helpful to all. As a City Councilperson, he was the best. Super knowledgeable and he always put so much work, time and effort into his position. He was always routing for the underdog and caring about everyone. I will never forget his kindness. Really sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I met him when I moved to Albany 17 years ago. He was always very kind to me and had a great sense of fun about him.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of such a good person. I knew Bob from his family's years of living on Cambridge Pl. Bklyn, NY. We loved the Doherty family; Bob & Cathy were great friends. I'm sorry I never got to see Bob again, but I hold great memories close to my heart. We love you.
