Robert Donald “Don” Leath Jr., of Kimberling City, MO, son of Don Sr. and Sandy Leath, was born January 1, 1962, in Memphis, TN. In the comfort of the home he built on Table Rock Lake, surrounded by his family, he peacefully departed this life on December 18, 2023, at the age of 61.
Don was united in marriage to Cheryl Ann Beaven for a wonderful and memorable 35 years, where they raised two children, Jake and Elizabeth (Libby). Together they moved to Table Rock Lake in 2017 from Chesterfield, MO.
Don was passionate in his craft and enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, grilling, and entertaining family and friends. He attended the First Baptist Church of Kimberling City. Part of his legacy will be remembered by his Halloween haunted houses and Christmas light show.
Don is survived by his wife, Cheryl Leath; son, Jake Leath and wife Anna; daughter, Libby Leath; parents Don Sr. and Sandy Leath; sister Rhonda Untrauer and husband Mark; brother Jon Leath and wife Kelli; and brother Dan Leath and wife Mary Jo. He was an uncle and great-uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
A heartfelt thank you from the Leath and Beaven families to their friends and neighbors for their love and support.
A Celebration of Life service for Don will be held on February 3rd at Chesterfield Community Church (14647 Ladue Rd., Chesterfield, MO 63017). Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM with a service following at 12:00 PM. Cremation is under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home in Kimberling City, MO.

Our family is so very sorry to see this sad and unexpected news. We were childhood neighbors in Chesterfield, and I will always have fond memories of Donny as a bright soul and fun-loving spirit. We are praying for peace for your family and sending so much love and hugs to you all.

While I did not know Don personally I did know his parents. I sat with them many of times and listened to their stories of all the kids . They certainly are proud parents. I can only imagine as nice as Don Sr. and Sandy are how amazing he must have been. My heart breaks and my thoughts and prayers for the entire family!!

Dear Cheryl, Libby, Jake and Anna,
We have no words that are sufficient to express our sympathy to your family at Don's passing. He was such a good friend, and a long-time golfing partner to Tim. He brought our vision for our home to reality, and we see his dedication to his craft throughout our home. Cheryl, you and Don created such a beautiful family and life together.
Our hearts are with the entire Leath family.
We love you all,
Tim and Sherryl
