Robert E. "Bob" Donnell

Littlefield (Special) Services for Robert E. (Bob) Donnell age 66 of Littlefield, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 23, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Sharon Weise, officiating. Burial will be in Littlefield Memorial Park under the directions of Hammons Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.

Bob went home to be with his Lord early, January 20, 2006 a Covenant Medical Center. He was born September 19, 1939 in Corpus Christi, TX to Howard and Alice Donnell. He retired from Amoco in 1996 with 29 years service. After his retirement, he enjoyed working in his woodshop, traveling, pitching horseshoes, and being with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He married Othana Donnell in 1981.

Bob was an active member of the Littlefield First United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Early Risers Lions Club. Bob was also a member of the Texas Horseshoe Pitchers Association and National Horseshoe Pitchers Association. He was proud of his three State Class Championships he won playing horseshoes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Chad Brantley.
