Not sure what to say?

Easily one of the best K-12 school teachers I've ever had. Innovative, creative teaching methods and lessons. When my wife had him he often gave out movie tickets as in class rewards. He recognized intelligence and cultivated it, rewarded it.

Mr. Donnelly was a very nice man. I knew him as he taught my children, and later, when I came to work @ SEDelco. He was a good teacher and always a gentleman.

I just heard of Bob’s passing. Bob was a good teacher and he made a big difference in a lot of Collingdale kids lives. He was also a good friend. He helped me in so many ways as a coworker. He made me a better teacher and person. I will miss him. He was always proud of his children and their achievements. My prays are with the family.

Mr. Donnelly was one of my favorite teachers. One of my fondest memories from my time at Harris was when we went on a field trip to the AMC that he worked at to see Narnia, and I can still so easily picture myself sitting in his classroom. I truly hope he was able to enjoy his final years. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Donnelly was a big influence in me becoming an educator. He was the type of teacher that made school enjoyable. I was a student in Southeast Delco SD from K-12 and now back at Harris School as an administrator. Without teachers like Mr. Donnelly, and his positive influence, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Thinking of you Sue and your family. My memories are from high school and early college years. I remember his enjoyment of Mowtown music and concerts at Villanova. Thirty-seven years educating children is quite a legacy. Looking through the pictures on FB I know Bob will be missed by his family. Do take care.

Met Bob during first days at Villanova. We shared many Education classes together. Always a hard worker and a good guy.

Hi Susan and children, So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. My condolences to you. I wish you some comfort and serenity.
Michael and Bob were friends both from Upper Darby and both receiving full scholarships to Villanova. They commuted to school at times to Villanova. Not too sure, we most likely double dated with our husbands. I believe you know this, Michael passed away 101/2 years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you
