Not sure what to say?

I speak on behalf of Bob DeSormeau Bobby D... my husband was deeply respectful of the Donovan Family, the loss of his friend Bob Donovan was tender in his heart.

Bob Donovan was my godfather. My sister was engaged to him when he went off to Vietnam. I´ll never forget her screams when we got the phone call. Rest in peace godfather. You were a wonderful man. I was too young to realize the horror that you endured. God bless you.

I never knew "Bobby" Donovan, but my husband, Larry Williams did. We were dating at the time of Bobby´s death. I stayed in the car while Larry went into the funeral home to pay his respects. That was the first time I saw Larry cry. He talked about going to some baseball games with Bobby and his father. I am so sorry I never got to meet Bobby.

I remember Bob. I was only 13 years old in 1966 but Rick Credno is my uncle and I would see Bob with Rick at his home on Oxford Street. I have never forgotten Bobby. God Bless you forever.

I knew Bob from Oxford St in the early 60's. My boyfriend lived next door. Bob was a handsome guy and a friend. Terrible that he died in Vietnam. I remember when I saw it in the newspaper. I think of him often. RIP

We went to school together at Central Tech in 1962 print shop. we were both in Vietnam together & never new it , until i joined the VVA Syracuse chapter & we did a few memorials down city. That is when i met your parents. Until we meet again.

I lived next door to his parents on malvern drive for years. Always was so sorry for their loss. Something you never get over. Thank you for posting this in honor of his service to our country. God bless.

I still remember going to your wake...so sad...

Gone, but never forgotten. Thank you for your service and ultimate sacrifice!
