Bob was and graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont and General Motors Institute. He was the Chief Engineer for General Motors Corp., Chevrolet, Pontiac & Cadillac Division for 40 years. Beloved husband of Joanne for 42 years. Loving father of Mark and Erich. Dear brother of Kirk (Marilee) and Sharon Alspach (John). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Memorial service Saturday 11a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 1669 W. Maple Rd., Birmingham, MI 48009. In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial tributes to the church for Rejoice & Renew or the charity of donor's choice.
