Not sure what to say?

THERE ARE SO MANY MEMORIES ABOUT MY DAD THAT I HAVE A HARD TIME PICKING JUST ONE. WHEN I WAS LITTLE MY DAD WAS SO STRONG, I REMEMBER WATCHING HIS RED TRUCK PULL UP THE DRIVEWAY AND AS SOON AS HE WOULD COME INTO THE HOUSE FROM WORK I WOULD ASK HIM " DAD CAN I DO THE SUMMERSALT TRICK" OF COURSE HE SAID YES SO THERE HE WOULD HOLD MY HANDS AS I WALKED UP HIS LEGS AND THEN WOULD CONTINUE TO DO A FLIP.

ANOTHER THING I REMEMBER IS HOW I WOULD BE SO EXCITED BECAUSE ON SATURDAY MORNINGS I...

The more entries I read in here, the more I remember how truly funny my dad was! I would even say at times...hilarious! I have a few more things that I want to share because I thought they'd be funny for people to know about. When I started dating my dad would literally HARRASS the boy who would come to pick me up. He had to come in, sit down in the living room on the couch and be grilled by my dad for at least a half hour. can you imagine? You're already nervous to begin with and then...

I remember many things about Duke- when I was little we used to have BBQ's all the time at our house on our built in brick fire place/BBQ pit outside. Sometimes we had BBQ's At Uncle Duke's house too. He always used to ask me- "How many hamboogies do you want Darrell?" He always made the BEST "hamboogies". One time when I was about five years old, Dad and Duke had to cut down a huge tree in our yard.To cut it down they had to dig a big pit about ten feet deep. They tied a rope around it...

Bob,(Duke) installed windows and doors for the same company as I did, sometimes we worked together on out of town school jobs... He was a hard worker, never complained about long hours working on weekends as we did a lot back in the 70's and 80's ...He was always thoughtful of his fellow human being and would go out of his way to help someone with whatever he could...During the last couple of years he had a rough time; he fell and broke his hip over a year ago, he had a lot of pain for a...

Darrell and I were riding in the back of Dukes truck one day coming back from a school job. While we were back there we would try to shoot these big rubber binders over bridges we'd just passed under. Well at one of the gas station stops I had bought some icecream bars and while shooting the binders I kind of let them go a little too long, when I went to eat them they were completely melted. Well needless to say I tried eating them anyway and while hanging over the back of Dukes truck I got...

I first met Bob over the phone, 5 years ago when I lived in Arizona with my best friend, his daughter Tina. He called often and was always telling funny stories about the characters in his life.
I didn't get a chance to meet Bob in person until Tina came to spend the weekend with him while he was in the hospital. He greeted me with a big hug and said he remembered our conversations from Arizona. I spent most of the weekend with Bob and Tina and it was good to see them so happy in...

WHAT I REMEMBER MOST ABOUT MY DAD IS HOW GENEROUS AND GIVING HE WAS. HE WOULD GIVE A PERSON THE SHIRT OFF OF HIS BACK. WHEN I WAS ABOUT 7 YRS OLD I WAS IN CAMP FIRE GIRLS AND HE WOULD ALWAYS TAKE A LOT OF MY CANDY AND SELL MOST OF IT FOR ME.
HE WAS TRULY A GREAT PERSON AND WILL BE GREATLY MISSED!!!

I miss Uncle Bob. When I'd leave the house, he'd always tell me that I was a good lookin' kid. He'd tell me that, even on the days I didn't fix my hair or put on make-up. He always had a kind or funny word to say.

One afternoon I couldn't breathe because of my asthma. I was only 6 or 7 at the time. Uncle Bob was over at our house visiting my dad. My mom kept bugging me to take me to the emergency room. I was so scared. I locked myself in the bedroom. Uncle Bob was so...

I have so many memories of Bob. He was my favorite uncle. When I was a little girl he took me everywhere with him. I still have a doll that he gave me when I was 2 years old She had really curly hair just like mine. I took that doll everywhere. When I was about six My brother ripped her leg off. I cried for days. When Bob found out he took the doll to a doll hospital and had her fixed.
Bob was always so good hearted, he was the kind of guy that would give you the last dime in his...
