ROBERT DOTTS Robert "Bob" Theodore Dotts, 89, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 15, 2016. He was born May 29, 1926, in Youngstown, Ohio. Bob served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a drop team manager for Binion's Casino, and was an avid golfer who loved the sport. Bob was preceded in death by his son, John Frank Dotts; and sister, Virginia Schwartz. Bob is survived by his wife, of 41 years, Esther Marie Dotts (Vagnozzi); son and daughter-in-law, Robert Dotts Jr. and Christina Dotts of Riverside Calif.; daughter, Mary Williams; grandson, Brent Dotts; brothers, Jack Dotts and Gene Dotts; and his best friend and brother, Stan Benson (Pam). Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas. Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive, Las Vegas. Burial following at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas.
