Robert Jackson Douglas

I first met Robert through reading his book SAGINAW which had been recommended by a fellow classmate of his, Robert Krohn. The book was fascinating and immediately I wanted to meet the author, which was accomplished on a visit to Seattle in 2006. I feel that I have lost a friend after reading Robert's book "Saginaw". It was so real to me. I too graduated from SHS in the late 40's and knew so many of the places he wrote about.

My sympathy to each family member on his passing. I am sure you are all very proud to be a part of his family.
