Not sure what to say?

What a great guy Robert was!! He was the type of person that would do anything for anybody. I meet Robert when I was working on the Client Survey web app in 1999. At first, I was traveling back and forth from Baton Rouge to Dallas every week for 6 months. I knew nobody in Plano. He was one of the people that made me feel at home while taking a TDY assignment. Later on it turned into a permanent position which is thanks to him. It gave me the opportunity to work with some really great...

Robert was my first Project Manager after I started with EDS in 1999. I will always remember him and his remarkable talent to remain calm and collected under pressure and adverse situations. He impressed me very much with his people skills and negotiation skills. In addition, I thought he was a real character because occasionally I would hear one of his wild stories (e.g. dragging a dumpster across the parking lot at 3am because it was “blocking his parking space”) and saw that he also had...

I met Robert when we were both working in Dallas for EDS in 1990. We worked and played hard.

He did enjoy his toys. I vividly remember when we went to a pond in Plano to run his motor boat on a beautiful sunny day. Lot's of people were enjoying the park. Robert pulled out his motor boat. When he started it up, it was extremely loud!! As I am not a person to draw attention to myself, I noticed that everyone in the park was now staring at us as his boat raced across the...

Rob was my neighbor when I was a little girl. I thought he was the cutest boy in the world! I only remember good times playing outdoors, kicking balls, and climbing fences. The last time I saw Rob was 18 years ago in Ocean City Md. We were at Buddy's on The Bay drinking cocktails in a hot tub! He was a friend at such an mportant time in my life. A time of learning to pretend, and play and share. I will never forget him.

Rob and I have been friends since we were 10 years old. We grew up across the street from each other. We loved to build and destroy model airplanes, boats, cars and rockets. Our philosophy when building models was directions are what other people use, we just threw them in the trash and keep the French version for the pictures.

During our teenage years we would ride motorcycles and play practical jokes. Our favorite was when we would fill some clothes full of grass clippings...

Rob was my first best friend in this world. We splashed in my kiddie pool in my parents backyard on West Windsor Ave. in Alexandria Virginia by day and at night we chased lightening bugs across the same backyard. I don't think anyone can quite compare to the first time one feels the love of their first best friend, Rob Dowling and Angela Fiorello were those first best friends to me. I will always cherish that. God speed Rob. Sincerely, Maureen Nugent

I didn't know him and I don't know you, but he seems to have been a very special person. I hope you find comfort in your memories of him. Blessings on his spirit.

He will be missed. Robert was the first person to offer me encouragement when I was diagnosed with cancer in 2004. His courage inpired me.

Robert sat across from me on the last account he worked on at EDS. His strength during his battle with cancer amazed me. He never complained. I will miss him.
