Dr. Robert T. Dowling

Chris and Chloe, we were so sad to hear of the passing of your father/FIL. He certainly lived life to the fullest to the very end. I´m sure he will be sorely missed. Rene and Kevin Lynch Webster Lake Franklin NH.

Final exam week at college in the mid seventies was the following week and that Friday evening I developed a tooth ache that consumed my consciousness and could not study. Dentists where I was located had closed for the weekend. Saturday I called Doc Dowling and he offered to take care of me on Sunday if I could catch a flight home and meet him at his office...which I did. Many thanks to Doc Dowling for getting me through my exams! I will always remember him for going out of his way to help...

Dr. Dowling was our family dentist for years. He will always be remembered as a gentle man who treated his patients with kindness and understanding. In fact, my three children used to argue among themselves of who would go first. Rest in Peace, Dr. Dowling. Keep those angels fit and active.

Doc and my dad were friends and he truly was one of the nicest men I´ve known. I will never forget my dad a frequent guest of Ernie´s bar challenged another bar to a football game and then got me and my buddies to play. He said doc is playing for u guys . At the time doc was about 60. Final score 6-0 with doc scoring the only touchdown by flying by a 20 yr old for a 60 yd Td. He was fastest guy on field that day.
