I met Robert Downes years ago at my job at Costco. I thanked him for helping my family. He ask who that was? I told him, he was very sympathetic and said he defended a family member of mine that was innocent and he never forgot the case. Wishing Mr. Downes family peace and sympathy. He was an incrediable person and a huge loss to Fairbanks.

After my Dad had the opportunity to work with and befriend Bob, I know he was one of my Dad´s most favorite people. Even after my Dad passed, Bob would still surprise me with a phone call every year or two to say hi and catch-up which was always a welcome surprise and appreciated. He lived a great life and truly was an amazing person that will be missed by many. Hoping your family can find peace...
