Robert passed away in December 2018. Robert was a resident of Maryland at the time of passing. The G.I. Bill allowed Bob to graduate from Purdue University in 1949 and receive a master's degree from the University of North Carolina in 1954. During WWII Bob served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Hawaii within the Jungle Training group, now a National Wildlife Refuge. A funeral service for Bob will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday January 9th in the chapel located at the Village at Rockville, 9701 Veirs Drive, Rockville, MD 20850. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bob's name to either The Lutheran Church of the Cross in Rockville, Maryland ( http://www.lccrockville.org/ ) or the philanthropy office of The Village at Rockville (formerly known as the National Lutheran Home)( www.thevillageatrockville.org.
