ROBERT M. DuMOUND age 70; beloved husband of 46yrs to Joanne (nee Berger); father of Dr. Jessica R. Brent (Justin) and Chip F.; precious "papa" of Jacoby, Brennan and Avery Brent and Adelyn DuMound; son of the late Jeanette (nee Porelli) DuMound Gillette, Charles M. DuMound and Gordon D. Gillette; brother of Kim Withrow (Robert). Robert was a co-founder and officer of Molders Choice Inc. and president of Visual Services. He was the former sign shop manager for Halle's, May Co., and Higbee's/Dilliards' department stores. One of his fondest memories was helping create the giant slide that appears in "The Christmas Story" during the filming in the old Higbee Department Store. He lived his faith throughout his life and especially during the years with pancreatic cancer. He was a valiant soldier of the Holy Spirit, showing his grandchildren that God's love and Jesus’ mercy helped him prepare to enter his heavenly home. He passed December 9, 2023 surrounded by his family. Funeral Mass Wednesday, December 13, St. Mary of the Falls Church (25615 Bagley Rd. Olmsted Falls, OH. 44138) at 10:30 A.M. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD. TUESDAY 4-7 P.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary of the Falls Church.
