Not sure what to say?

A valued squadron mate and friend in our Navy reserve outfit, and an example of coolness, congeniality , and politeness. Always enjoyed shooting the breeze with Bob about flying and sailing. Fairwinds, Bob, and condolences to family and, especially, to Sue. It was privilege to know you both.

I´m always sorry to learn of a fellow pilot and squadron mate´s passing. We had exciting times flying with the best. Safe flight west, Bob

Sorry to hear of Bob´s passing. He was a wonderful aviator, a proud naval officer and good friend when flying with VA-204. He will be missed. Wonder he likes his new wings flying West?

Bob served with honor in our Navy Reserve "Attack" squadron, VA204, at Olathe and then in Memphis. As a fellow F-4 "fighter" pilot, when we initially joined the "attack" squadron, we took a great deal of early "ribbing" from the "attack" pilots. Of course, both pilot groups soon learned that most Naval Aviators share the same skills, honor, bravery, love of adventure, patriotism, and camaraderie. Bob Duncan was a champion of each.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Spent 10+ years as squadron mates and always admired his company both in the air and on the ground. He was an accomplished pilot and exemplary naval officer.
